Classic & Reliable

Perhaps best known for its 24-hour Airman tool watch, Glycine has been producing timepieces since 1914. This one features a dressy yet understated aesthetic with Arabic numerals on the dial, along with a date window at 3 o’clock. For visibility in the dark, the hands and numerals have a luminous coating. Also worth noting is the length of each hand, which creates a rather unique look from a design perspective. The outer chapter ring on the dial has numeric interval markers in intervals of five, with more precise markers in between.

Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of six different models.

Automatic Movement, 50 Meters Water Resistant

Fitted with GL224 25-jewel movement—which is visible through the display case back—the watch has a specially engraved ball-bearing, ruthenium-coated oscillating weight. It vibrates 28,800 times per hour and has a 38-hour power reserve. The movement is housed in a 42-millimeter stainless steel case and protected by a sapphire crystal. Thanks to its sturdy construction, the watch is water resistant to a depth of 50 meters.
