Perhaps best known for its 24-hour Airman tool watch, Glycine has been producing timepieces since 1914. This one features a dressy yet understated aesthetic with Arabic numerals on the dial, along with a date window at 3 o’clock Read More
My watch won't keep the time. I've had it for less than three months and it won't hold a "charge". Even while wearing the watch all day it runs very slow. It worked fine at first, but now it's unwearable. Nothing worse than a watch you cannot trust. I bought a Swiss watch, expecting Swiss quality. I believe that quality extends to the warranty process, and yet the warranty process is a sham. They want you to pay shipping both ways, fine I'll eat the shipping costs even though I don't feel I should be responsible for this. But here is the deal breaker, they require an "evaluation fee" fee as well. Out of principle I refuse to pay this. I love Massdrop and I want to buy more watches, but this warranty process has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'll be taking my watch to my local watch shop for repair. I'll probably end up paying double the shipping and evaluation cost, but at least I won't feel like they are ripping me off.
Gorgeous Watch. Full Matte Stainless Steel. Got it much later than expected but otherwise worth the wait.
My only complaint would be that the matte stainless finish was lightly scratched on the edge of one the strap links, when i took it out of the box. I understand it is a sensitive finish however.
shoot, i was gonna sell it, but I'm pretty impressed. for 290 bucks, this is a really nice watch. i got the white face, bead blasted finish metal bracelet and case. the packaging is really nice, and it has a great feel. I'm gonna be keeping it, with my other watch being an Omega speedmaster grey side of the Moon.
xPamanLucky you, I'm still waiting on mine in Texas. Shipped on 6/28 originally scheduled for the July 8th. Then delayed to July 10th. Eagerly checked the mailbox when I got home and it's empty... Now it says July 11th. We will see tomorrow. Apparently shipping internationally across the Pacific is quicker.
How are you liking it?
Dmf326The watch is very nice. I chose mat-grey color with light dial , what was not visible on the pictures (the mat), so I was a little bit surprised. It is well built and I like it. However, on the pictures I could see Incabloc shock absorber, but in fact there is a lower grade Etachoc system.
And so far it goes +8 seconds a day too fast.
But in general, It is very OK!
would anyone like to buy mine? I'm pretty sure I'm gonna sell it, as I'm not sure i need it anymore. i got another watch as a gift since i ordered this. i got the white with stainless bracelet. it was 292 with tax. anyone?
I'm a watch nut. Mostly Swiss. For what it is worth this is by far the least expensive I have seen this model offered for. The closest is at J****S**** for 299.99 on sale. Even with Invicta Watch Group ( Eyal Lolo) now owning the brand and facility, I truly doubt that you will see a comparable price other than every now and then.
BTW, nothing against Invicta, they offer some VERY durable watches that look good. I was referring to Invicta not using mainstream advertising as in buying a page in Wristwatch Annual Magazine, Watches International Mag, Watchtime etc. Regardless of the company, whether Invicta, Rolex or Brand X, to get SWISS MADE on the watch you follow the Swiss regulated guidelines
