gavdeckUnfortunately "no." I purchased this watch last year, and returned it shortly after receiving it. I liked the overall appearance of the watch with its no-date dial, the size was great (for my 7 1/4" wrist), and loved the hesalite crystal! The problems I had with the watch were as follows: It ran -18 seconds per day, the manual winding was not smooth, the green "NATO" strap on it had a STRONG chemical smell, and the date mechanism / wheel was still installed beneath the dial. I wanted to love the watch, but it just didn't meet my expectations, even for $300. This is not the case with all Glycine watches, as my Wife has a 36mm Combat 6 that is just lovey. I purchase the no-date version of the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical (H69429931) earlier this year, and love it! It is the watch I wanted the Glycine to be. It has a ETA 2801.2 hand wound movement, is slightly smaller at 38mm, has a bead-blasted case, and has a sapphire crystal. It does cost a little more money. But, it is well worth it in my opinion!

Here's a wrist shot for you. The one thing I did have to replace on the Hamilton was the NATO that it came with, as it was just a little too short for my wrist.

CaferiderI kept my Glycine, but agree 100%, the Hamilton is a much better watch for slightly more.

CBB75It looks great on your wrist. If I had both, I'd have a green NATO on one, and a black NATO on the other. That way I'd be prepared to match anything I was wearing. You simply can never have too many watches!
