Got mine today. It is a very solid and big watch. The leather band appeared black at first but in full light you can see that it is a very dark brown (almost a kind of cordovan brown) with slightly lighter stitching. It looks great on this watch! The only negative I can mention at all is that there doesn't appear to be any anti-reflective coating on the crystal. So, while the hands are very legible and easy to see (due to the lume), the red gold applied hour indices and overall dial "blanks" out at some angles in almost a stealth kind of way. A simple twist of the wrist brings it all back into legibility. If you like big watches, you will definitely like this watch. It wears bigger than my other two 43mm watches in a chunky kind of way. I like the feel of the chrono pushers, too, not too hard to push but solid nonetheless. They have a nice, solid click too. This was another truly great Massdrop deal and I am very happy I joined the drop! This watch goes into rotation with my Breitlings; it's that nice.

Gotta disagree. Remember I said a slight twist of the wrist? . . .

A great watch at an outstanding price IMHO. At just $699.95 for a $3K watch? What's not to like or appreciate. This was an outstanding drop.

Did you manage to get a refund? I may be persuaded to buy it off you if they won't do a refund...

Your watch in the photos looks different than on the Massdrop site. Massdrop one doesn't seem to have raised numerals or the lowered sub-dials at 12 and 6. Am I correct?

rsb1I can confirm that the one I got has raised numerals, and the sub dials are lowered. The dial for this drop *looks* flat. Unfortunately, the product photography can be somewhat deceiving.
For what it's worth, I'm in for one of the new ones with the silver numerals, which is more my style, and will be selling the one I previously purchased (pictured)

xalsxThanks, that makes sense. I think this product is different than the one you originally purchased as it has a different product number. If you look at the ones on Iguana Sell or a few other sites, their product has the raised numerals and lowered dials and a different product number. This one on Massdrop (and Jomashop) will be for the flat version. Would buy it in a second if it was the one with more depth but I'm afraid it's not the same product.

SGvaJust to prevent confusion, my pictures are from the mid-February drop and this model is slightly different from the current drop as noted by others.  The gold colored Arabic numerals are raised and two of the sub dials have a raised "track" around them that makes the sub dials look recessed.  The hands are gold, too.  Still loving mine!

SGvaDid you change the strap on this? If yes, where'd you get it?

MetalBeardAs noted above, the watch I have pictured is the Glycine combat chrono from the February drop, NOT the current drop which is a latter version of this watch, from the 2016 product line.  The February drop model first appeared in Glycine's 2014 catalog and was replaced by the current drop model in late 2016.  The strap you see on my watch is the original strap that came with the watch.  I have since replaced it with a lighter brown strap from ebay seller "magicstrap".  It is thicker and more robust than the Glycine supplied dark  strap so I expect it to last longer.  Here is a pic of my watch with this strap attached.
