MbotWhy would you swim with a watch that has a leather strap on it? 50m is enough for watches where it'll only see hand washing. It is nice to have more resistance but I don't see it as a must.
If you go diving or swimming, look for a real diving watch I guess

JiayawA leather strap can easily be swapped! Leather strap for dressing-up, and stainless steel for swimming and other activities. With only 5ATM it broadly restricts the flexibility of the watch. No reason to deny us 10ATM on a $2400 watch!

JiayawShame on Patek Philippe! 100m water resistance is not extreme, it is average, quite the norm actually.
It is almost inconceivable that multi-thousand dollar watches are 3ATM/5ATM while $150/$200 watches have 10ATM.
My Tissot SeaStar cost only $699 and has 300m water resistance including a screwdown crown!

MbotThis watch has to hold a movement that's twice the thickness as your SeaStar, and 20% larger diameter, in the same size case, with only 1/3 the number of places that water can work its way into.

MbotIt's not a dive watch. "Should be 1000m minimum" Minimum? What non dive watch has more than 100m resistance? 75% of watches over $150 have 100m? What a crock of bullshit. It's a dressy chronograph. You don't like it, buy what you like. Why so belligerent to reasonable responses. Why would you even need 10 ATM on a non Diver? 5 ATM is fine for swimming if you feel you must, but if you want to dive, get a dicver, not a dressy non-diver chrono. Only noobs from a shanty town have to rely on only one watch for all purposes.
