I got one of these in the last drop and found it way too small and thin for a diver, overwhelmed even by the rubber strap, sort of like a charm on a charm bracelet. I ordered a Glycine Combat Sub Aquarius from Jomashop as a replacement (it's shown up on Massdrop also) and am putting the watch bought here up on an auction site.
Note that there are three Glycine divers:
The Glycine Combat Sub 42: 42 mm diameter, 10.6 mm thick, various 22-mm strap options
The Glycine Combat Sub 48: 48 mm diameter, 11,3 mm thick, various 24-mm strap options
The Glycine Combat Sub Aquarius: 46 mm diameter, 18.8 mm thick, 22-mm rubber deployment strap, no bracelet option
The first one wasn't at all for me. It's a dainty dress watch wearing diver clothes. I haven't seen the 48 in the flesh, but it seems simultaneously too wide and too thin. The Aquarius seems to have more normal "big diver" proportions and was designed in consultation with a diver. I'm hoping for the best. Ideally I'd want a bracelet option, but I have bracelet divers, and the watch itself is most important.

CloacaDo you mind me asking what size wrist you have? The 46mm of the Aquarius seems like it could just about work on my wrist (7.25"), and it's a nice looking watch, but 18.8mm thick sounds massive. Cheers!

JTrubsI have a 7-inch wrist. I haven't tried on the Glycine Aquarius yet, since it hasn't arrived from Jomashop. I think It will be fine because one of my favorite watches is the bargain-priced Aragon Evo diver, which, in the version I have, is 45 mm in diameter with a 17-mm height, combined with a very vertical, right-angle can shape. It's big and sticks up, but it works, at least on a bracelet, for me.
A key factor is the lugs. The Evo lugs, as well as the Aquarius lugs, from the images, are short and downturned. The Combat Sub 48 has regular stick-out lugs like the 42, and would result in a huge air gap.

JTrubsBy the way, here's the old drop for the Aquarius:
https://www.massdrop.com/buy/glycine-combat-sub-aquarius-automatic
It's rated to 500 meters, so that accounts for some of the thickness, thicker sapphire and a thicker back plate.
