Could not resist another fabulous Glycine at this price. I am very happy with my other ones.

JoysimathA Swiss watch with an ETA 2824 movement, sapphire face, and 9mm thin, for $300! What is not to love? Gorgeous casual/dress watch. Enjoy.

gk68Agreed, also love that they have the old Glycine Crown logo, should be close to the last of these. Enjoy.

GugliermoI just had to shake my head..real hard...when I read someone criticizing the Glycine for its ' NATO band' problems and its crown?!! Glad that Gugliermo rescued me... In that NATO helicopter! Close call! I owe you one. Lol......gk68

GugliermoAlmost seems like the Glycine could have a respectable performance, if compared to a slim Zenith. Am I even close? Thanks.

gk68I would agree. The Zenith Pilot Type 20 Extra Special looks very similar but is 14+mm thick compared to the Glycine 9+mm. I have thick watches as well but I Love the sleekness of the Glycines. My Glycine Combat Sub is 10+mm and is my overall favorite watch. It hugs the wrist in comfort like few others.

GugliermoAlso, The Zenith uses a Sellita movement, basically a clone of the ETA 2892, the Glycine uses an inhouse tweaked ETA 2824 movement. The Glycine is $300, the Zenith is $3500+.........(-= http://www.watchprosite.com/page-wf.forumpost/fi-1123/ti-934973/pi-6458758/

GugliermoThanks again, G! Glycine is getting increasing respect, based on build quality, movement, accuracy, reliability, durability. I appreciate your assessment, as I love the Glycines I have and have run into budget dead end anyway. gk68

gk68You bet. Yeah, you're not alone in the budget dead-end (-; If I have to have something that is a great deal I do the paypal credit, 6 months interest free so I could buy this Glycine for $50 @month for 6 months. Usually I can swing such purchases. Be sure to pay it off in the 6 month period or you are hit with exorbitant interest charges. Too good a watch for dirt cheap to let slip! Cheers.
