Arrived recently, but the strap is too short its stated as 40mm, but actual size without a pin is around 35, what actually makes it look really small on the wrist. There is a 48mm model, which I assume looks like normal 40mm. Massdrop guys, can you request a 48mm model for the next drop? As this model most probably will go as a gift for a girl ;)

AlexLaimI have to laugh at the idea that 40mm is small. Historically, until about 15 years ago, 40mm would've been considered ridiculously large. Well, it's a different world now, measured by different standards.
Aside from that, I'm having trouble deciphering what you're saying. What is a pin? If you mean the crown, that should definitely not be included in the case diameter.

macdaneYou can find measurements below, but, aside form that, I have to laugh at the idea that people are stuck in last century and become offensive when it'c come to discuss preferences and design perspectives ;)

AlexLaimIt wasn't my intent to be offensive. I was just laughing at the notion that 40mm is now considered small, compared to the entire history of the wristwatch ... that's all. I personally prefer something in the 42-44mm range, so I'm sorta laughing at myself, too. As for this piece, what you're looking at is a standard 38mm watch. I have no idea what the Glycine folks were smoking when they decided to call this 40mm.

AlexLaimFor me It's also looks strange (my arrived week ago) and I have also 7.5 inch wrist , case diameter should be always listed without crown. And now watch looks smaller that I've supposed buying it :(. If it was really 40mm without crown It would be great for me.
