I own both of these. I love them, though the ventures capacity is rather low for the price. If you're getting it, know you're also getting a really bright light, but that you should be careful with the cord that comes with. The nomad 7 Im much happier with, I took it with me on a year long south American backpacking trip in the Andes, and it never let me down. I'd get the solar panel from this drop, it's honestly one of the best on the market.
$80 for a not even 8k mAh i cant see the vaule for this pack i wanted to love it but the specs of the power pack and panel just doent seem right to be, For the price. My opinion only.
gundamdudIf the Goal Zero Nomad 7 Solar Panel capacity of 7W is insufficient for this price (no argument there), do you have any recommendations for better backpacker solar panels (on price or capacity)?
brianrhuddlestonI love my Anker 21W solar panel got it for around $30 on Amazon. Even works on over cast days just slowly. I combined it with a $20 10000mAh. had both for almost 4 years now they go on all my 4+ day trips.
