Video from the T1 I ordered from Massdrop. Video was captured via the accelerometer detection built into the camera.
T1 has the same sensor and processor as the T2

Where do you view the video? How to charge, is it using a battery or something?

willie2849There is a phone app you use, it connects via wifi to download videos and view any of the recordings.
It requires a hardline connection via micro-usb to run the camera. You would either have to run it from your cigarette lighter, or for a cleaner installation use something like an "add-a-fuse". You could put the Add-A-Fuse into your accessory panel under your dash board, or even through the firewall to the main fuse box in the engine bay if you want it to be powered even when it's parked so you can use features like parking mode.
I installed this on my truck not too long ago and I was thinking of posting some pictures on how I did it.

MystakillaNot much really. I have them both, and can't really see much of a difference. The T2 has a green stripe.

Any opinions on this? How does it get power when in parked mode? Is there a battery?
SocksAttackThis device uses a capacitor instead of a battery. It serves the same function as a battery but is less prone to wear and will last longer.

kstokleyActually the T3 has the capacitor, the T1 has a Li-Po battery. The thing will record detected motion for days on a single charge. Motion detection being, somebody or something moved in front of the camera.
