Warm balaclava
Used this week. Nighttime temps dropped into the teens. It kept my head very warm! I went with the double fill. It is also incredibly light weight!

Makes a big difference
I got the overfilled version, to use both with a quilt and a hoodless down jacket. It's very compact and remarkably warm for the tiny size and weight, And IMHO 1000% more useful than the down hat Massdrop has sold.

Bought this regular fill verson in tandem with a new Revelation quilt. I usually sleep warm, but being new to quilts thought this would be a good idea. Especially important for me as I had a neck injury and need to keep it warm at night.
LOVE THIS!
It tucks down onto my shoulders, allows me to tighten up the exposed face, is super light and almost a perfect fit when tucked into my quilt. Used it last weekend on a local backpacking trip. Weather into the 30's and winds up to 50 mph driving heat away from tent. Was super cozy, and comfortable. This made a huge difference. Buying now for my wife and Scout son too.
