Do I need to size up for wide feet? I wear a size 8.5 E width in women’s. Will a women’s medium fit?

DrowningGirlUntil you get an official response, I will share my two cents. The mediums fit lengths W's 8 -10, Men's 7-9. Since your length is 8.5, you've got plenty of length to spare. Men's feet tend to have more volume for a given length, and these are unisex, so I'd imagine the Mediums here will be the best fit. I wear a wide in my Vasque hiking boots, but not for regular street shoes. Anyway, just my opinion :-)

GooseFeetI have one more question. How loose are the ankles? I find socks that aren’t stretchy to be too tight. I am not comfortable in socks that are constricting. I know there is elastic but I can’t tell how much give is in them.
