Do you guys have good luck with aluminum lugnuts? I know you can't crank them on with an impact, but do they hold up well?
Ventworth
I personally wouldn't use them on a street car. Generally, I have no experience with these, they are easy to over tighten and strip. Lug nuts are too important an item IMHO to add the possible failure point. OTH, Gorillas' steel lugs are some of the best out there maybe they have overcome this problem.

Would these work with Subaru Liberty 2005 3.0R-B(or Legacy in US) with 2007 STI Enkei wheels?
Would these suit an Ford FG Falcon XR6T? It's with the 18" Factory optioned wheels.
crainger
Not going to lie, I had to look up your model! All my references here are for US cars only. From my research it looks like your car is a 1/2" thread size, which we do offer in these lugs in the black finish. Not 100% sure, but I believe your factory lugs and lug wrench are 13/16"/21mm Hex, so you would need an adapter or a different wrench in the car to match these lugs 3/4"/19mm Hex.
Can i use these on a Mercedes 2012 C250 Coupe
Artsan
Hi Artsan,
Mercedes use lug BOLTS, not lug nuts. Unfortunately the products in this drop will not fit your application.
Thank you, Jon Collier
GorillaAuto
Hey @Artsan, @GorillaAuto is spot-on...but you can do yourself a huge favor and install studs! I have a 2001 Audi S4 Avant and I'm so happy I ditched lug bolts in favor of studs. If you do that, I recommend going with open-ended nuts so you don't have to worry about the length of the studs and whether they will hit the top end of the bolts. And don't forget the red LocTite...on the studs/rotors, not the nuts!

Fair warning to those who haven't used aluminum lug nuts before: Since aluminum is more malleable than steel, and its being exposed to new pressures and temperature changes (hot brakes), you need to make sure you properly torque them to spec in order to not over-tighten the lugs, AS WELL AS re-torquing them after 50 miles or so to get them settled correctly at the right torque spec. Most wheels should be between 80-85 ft/lbs, but you can do some research to find the right torque for you. A friend didn't know this and after about 60 or 70 miles of driving, 2 of the lugs had fallen off completely. I have the black open-end lugs and they're perfect. Give the lugs some love and they'll love you back, lol.
Dakotatyler2
Great bit of advice that is true for ANY new lug nuts, not just aluminum. We always recommend installing new lug nuts on to dry, clean threads, and torquing to factory torque spec. That can vary by vehicle, so be sure to know your vehicles spec. Lugs should be retorqued after 25-50 miles.
The most important bit of Aluminum specific lug advice I give is to make sure the threads stay clean to prevent galling, and to not use impact guns or improperly sized sockets as that can damage the lug and finish. Otherwise they act very much like a steel lug nut.
I love your "give the lugs some love" line, it's very true. Even the best products can fail if they aren't used properly or neglected!
Will these fit on a 2014 Ford Raptor Stock Special Edition wheels?
RAPTOR1
A 2014 Ford Raptor is a 14mm x 2.00 thread size, which unfortunately is not something we offer for this style of lug.
are these the skinny style that would work with my after market wheels? my mutekis fit in the holes but the socket is too wide so i can't torque them down. i also have spline style gorilla nuts that work but are starting to fall apart.
schembo2000
These lugs would use a 3/4" socket, and aren't our Small Diameter or "spline" style lugs. If you can fit a 3/4" socket in your wheels then they should work, otherwise I would wait for our Small Diameter Aluminum lug nut drop to pop up again!
Would these work for a 2016 Toyota Camry?

I'm getting the upgrade with the 17" alloy Toyota wheels not the steel with hub cap does that make a difference?
AncientArora
If they are factory Toyota wheels that use a "mag style" lug with an attached washer these will not work. Most factory Toyota wheels use that type of lug, the lugs in this drop would only be for aftermarket wheels in your case.

How do these compare to, say, 949 Racing lug nuts? Other than apparently being 0.5g lighter? :)
misha
Hi Misha, I'm familiar with the 949 Racing lugs from my Miata days, but not familiar with them enough to compare. By the info on their website the grade of material used is the same (7075 alum) but there are a lot of variables in manufacturing, testing and QC that I don't know. We have over 10 years of history selling our aluminum lugs and have had nothing but great feedback! Let me know if you have any other questions!
