Kaizen21Thanks for the review and photos! I think the marketing images look great, but with the lack of reviews/information I could find about this brand, I couldn't be swayed to take the plunge.
Thoughts: - It's awful that you received laces different from what was represented in the images. MD either needs to update the image or make that clear in the description. - That stitching problem you highlighted looks awful. I've not seen anything like that even on my Dr Martens boots that cost half the price of this one. Has MD offered an appropriate response/explanation?

serifYes there isn't a lot of reviews on this brand. I email Gorilla USA they answer that this kind of stiching is "totaly comon because the boot is handmaid". I think they don't give a shit about detail, but this doesn't mean the boots are bad quality. Even on their website on some models you can see bad stiching, maybe they like the style of a "raw boots" but I think they loose a lot of customers because of that.
Yes Massdrop offered me a full refund if I send back the boots (I paied 42 CAD import fees so I choose to keep them) or a 25$ refund. I took the 25$.

EDIT : One little thing get my attention: on the left boot, the sewing is weird, it's like the leather is returned on itself. The right boot is "normal".
"hand crafted" shouldn't be an excuse for bad quality control. I'm not really happy, detail like this shouldn't be on a $260 MSRP boots.
