On the fence about this. I was on the fence for the last drop too...
Can anyone comment on use with sensitive IEMs, i.e. Noble, JH etc?
Channel balance, noise floor, throw on volume pot?
Thanks.

jowlsChannel balance is supposed to be something like 0.05db at all levels. Seems balanced all the way til I can't hear it anymore.
Both 'pots' are actually rotary encoders, with clicky detentes. They are fairly solid, with minimal wobble.
The iem/noise level thing is an interesting question and requires some more investigation on my side (or anyone else). Using what I assume is an exceptionally crappy pair iems, these https://www.massdrop.com/buy/meelectronics-sport-fi-m6-noise-isolating-earphones there is noise present at all levels. It's not terrible, and doesn't drown out music, but I can hear it all the way down and up. At high levels it gets worse, but music is audible at 10-20. I'm going to have to run through some other headphones and see what I can hear.

jowlsI just plugged in my SE535's (I've never bothered using IEM's on my m920 before), and it is silent up until a volume of 96 (with offset at 0). Once you hit 96.5, a relay engages, and I think an additional gain circuit kicks in, and then you can hear a bit of hiss. I believe that a volume of 95 (or maybe it's 96) is the signal from the DAC without any attenuation, but I could be wrong on this. I've been curious as to what that relay is since I got the m920. I'd love to know!
