Okay, still a little undecided. I got a Topping D3 DAC with a e09k AMP. Could anyone ( knowing the components) maybe tell me if it is worth upgrading? I'm not one of these guys with too much money, you know. I could afford them if needed, but would be kinda dissappointed if I could not hear any improvement.
Yeah, I know this is a very specific question, but I hope for someone to help me out.

UhluI own the Grace and also some cheaper Dacs. Really it might sound marginally better but only if you're looking for it. Sometimes I listen to the ODAC instead of my m9xx because it's more open than the m9xx, but the m9xx has better separation and slightly tighter detail.
Usually though a good Dac is a good Dac, which is good ;-).
The E09K is alright but has a huge output impedence of 8 ohms so it's not good for low-impedance headphones. For headphones of generally higher impedance it's an alright amp with tons of power to spare. I don't think it flushes the bass out quite enough in a planarmagnetic but it handles any dynamics with ease. I still wouldn't recommend it.
Perhaps you should get an Asgard or something if you want to stand up your amp game.
