Not buying only because I own the SR60, these are the best earphones I own sound wise. I don't own real expensive headphones, probably will get a Fidelio X2 in the future. I also listen to Takstar Pro 80, AKG DJ 181UE, and Philips SHP9500. Whenever I switch to these others, it's like I'm listening to music with tissues in my ear, have to listen for a few minutes to adjust. Bass is surprisingly better than the other 3, punchy and tight, it got better after breaking it in. Mids are awesome and the highs can get a little harsh, but I like it cause it gives a good sense of air. Some sounds are meant to sound harsh, the Takstar and AKG kinda rolls off at the top end. The only problem I have with the Grado is it hurts my ears in a couple of hours, I wear glasses. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
