This is the version of the watch used by the legendary Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces KAPPA Team 6. It shows their mascot dog "Fujiwanwan."

We did a joint training mission with the Kappas to sabotage the fireworks display during the Beijing Olympics. It was a complete success, and those commie Maoists didn't have any idea what hit them.

I just want to make sure you guys don't miss another drop here of a tool that every one of us SEALs kept close at hand, the Boker Plus Hawkit Neck Knife Axe:

Seven hours to go, jump on it. I can't tell you how many times this axe saved my bacon on foreign missions.

So...where is a US Navy SeAL suppose to get the money to buy this hunk of crap..?? I was an O-3 and didn't get paid enough to buy this watch or any other mechanical watch but an Orient diver for off duty use. This is like those fancy four wheel drive cars driven by people that will never get them dirty...posers...if someone in my unit had worn this..he would've been a laughing stock!

I believe that a Seal or anyone else in the field these days is going to carry a cheap but reliable quartz timepiece. Something like a Casio gshock. I wasn't a Seal but as a Army medic I would never have trusted a mechanical watch way out in the field with no repair shops. I love mechanical watches but not trustworthy enough in the field.

I am a Russian troll 😂. I was trying to be tactful by saying what my experience is, not the questionable comment of our SEAL team 6 battle buddy.

I think this has to be the exact opposite of what a Navy Seal would want to wear.

I was with Seal Team 6. What an experience. Sometime when I can spare a moment I have some stories to tell. I was on the team that Obama sent in to assassinate Kim Jong-Un in 2013. We got so close, but one of our Chinooks went down just outside of his winter palace and we had to beat a quick retreat.
We used this exact watch, by the way.

DimaGIt's too bulky for that..and that latch crown would get caught on something and land in your lap.
