I believe that a Seal or anyone else in the field these days is going to carry a cheap but reliable quartz timepiece. Something like a Casio gshock. I wasn't a Seal but as a Army medic I would never have trusted a mechanical watch way out in the field with no repair shops. I love mechanical watches but not trustworthy enough in the field.

Jasonf1984No real SEAL would be caught dead wearing a quartz watch. That's one of the first things they drilled into our heads during BUD/S. Those watches die immediately during an electromagnetic pulse event after a Russian tactical nuke attack.
Hey, are you posting this fake news from a Russian troll farm? Have you heard of the Stolen Valor Act of 2005? You could be in big trouble.

LtcomI am a Russian troll 😂. I was trying to be tactful by saying what my experience is, not the questionable comment of our SEAL team 6 battle buddy.
