I purchased the 45L pack. First and foremost, I like the adjustability of the pack frame. This allows several different sized people in my family to use it. The pack is extremely comfortable under a load. I have had some trouble fitting all of my gear into this pack so maybe I should have purchased the larger one. On the other hand, I believe that smaller packs are the future. I was able to fit the larger Bear canister inside the bag, but it takes up a lot of the real estate. I just need to figure out how to minimize my gear and get this thing packed. One minor complaint is that there are all together too many straps on this pack. Overall I think it is a great pack.

strictmashineAgree with you whole heartedly on the ease of adjustment of torso length. Would not hesitate to lend my pack to someone else and use my back up for a trip. Once you know your particular settings, the markings make it easy to return your pack to its original settings. Another adjustment which no one has mentioned so far is that the hip belt is built in two sections and can be adjusted as well. Its a nice feature as it allows you to position where the belt pockets sit on your torso and how useful they may or may not be. Again the markings make it easy to return an adjusted belt to its original position.
