Saw a couple of pictures posted of the keys by people who got them. The quality looked sub-par as there were scratches on the keys and a lot of the keys that require stabilizers were warped even as small as the 1.5u keys.

I received my set yesterday. I can confirm that my set has exactly the same issues. The warping is pretty significant on some keys... especially the caps lock and space bar. There are scratches.. although on mine I haven't noticed any as severe as the Enter key mentioned above.
Here's a pic of the underside of the 0 key from the numpad set.:

As you can see, these are NOT thick PBT... which I sort of expected anyways... However, I suspect this may have something to do with the warping. Thin PBT is notorious for doing this, especially on the longer keys.
In addition, I also noticed that the sides of the keys had a slight bow to them. I've never actually seen that happen before. You can sort of see what I'm talking about if you look closely at the left and right sides of the key.
Here's a pic of everything:
- The box it came in
- The plastic baggies that each set was in - And, of course, the keycaps themselves... For me that was 1x Common, 1x Text Mods, 1x Numpad, 1x Multimedia

I will have to say... I was a little underwhelmed by the packaging. For something that costs as much as this I would have expected it to be packaged better. I would imagine the keys are as scratched up as they are because they were essentially just thrown in a brown box and shipped out. Overall, I would give these keycaps a 7/10. Despite the less than ideal packaging and warping I still think this is a great looking set. I plan to use these with costar stabilizers anyways so I doubt I will see issues like others have reported with cherry stabilizers.
(sorry for the potato photos)

PacwageoThe pictures Lwpl posted of the warped and scratched keys were of my set and I can confirm that virtually every key 1.5u and bigger arrived noticeably warped and all of the stabilized keys were unusable out of the box with Cherry plate mount stabs. I had to spend *hours* using a hair dryer bending and flexing my keys just to get them into a usable state. And that was just for my Icon Mods set, I still need to do my Pro Icon Mods set.
My biggest complaint is the cruciform deformities on the surface of the keys. It doesn't seem to be an issue on the 1u-1.75u keys or the space bars, but every last one of my 2u stabilized keys have cruciform molding defects severe enough that you can feel it with your fingers. It makes the set feel and look cheap. The $20 keycool PBT set I got from BangGood doesn't even have this issue.
I am rather disappointed in the quality of these and they will almost certainly be the last thing I ever order that was manufactured by Signature Plastics.

strictOh no. I am worried that my set will likely have the same defects. And I have another 2 SP sets that I've ordered direct from their site.
I wonder if they dropped the ball on this one due to the volume, potentially their largest order of custom keys?
I hope my other sets don't have the same issues.
Does anyone have good, easy methods to fix warping they can share?

strictWow, I spent 203 dollars on my set I really hope I don't have those problems. :( That's terrible for such an expensive keyset.

strictMassDrop can take returns, you know? I'd call/write a vendor before blistering my fingers over a subpar product.

MaNiFeXI still like mine enough to keep them... it's just frustrating.
I also wanted to make sure the community was aware of the issues. If there's ever another round done in the future, I think it'd be good for everyone to know about these issues and to allow the vendor the ability to fix everything. If no one said anything, then nothing would improve.

strictHey @strict,
The quality of your spacebar and the capslock in the pictures you posted is definitely not acceptable.
We have already informed Signature Plastics of the issue. And we'll update as soon as we hear back from them.
In the meantime, we have also instructed our warehouse to be much more thorough with the keycap packaging. This should take care of the scratching problem we are seeing from a couple of the members.
Be sure to email us at support@massdrop.com, we'll be able to coordinate replacement unit with you directly via email.

PacwageoI agree. I'm glad you did, and to tell you the truth, with my experiences with MassDrop support, they don't seem to care (brau!). You probably took the path of least resistance. I'm a bit disappointed in the whole experience, especially since I'm one of the RGB orders... I just hope I get it for Christmas!
