As a follow-up to my question from a few months back, as to the support for GNU/Linux, I found out that it is properly supported via the Huion 610 reverse-engineered driver from Digimend (https://digimend.github.io/tablets/Huion_H610/). After about three months of use, the tablet works great under GNU/Linux, sans a few quirks (none having to do with the pen/digitzer, though). The few quirks have to do with the buttons not being set properly, but that's adjustable within individual software. Everything works, including pressure, and I highly suggest this device to any GNU/Linux users. Tested with Debian GNU/Linux sid, entirely free software.
