I have a Baltoro 75 (medium version) and have taken it backpacking several times, including on a challenging 7-day trip in the high Sierras. This pack is bomb-proof and very comfortable. At 5 pounds, it is not ultra-light. But it's hard to imagine this pack ever failing. I use lighter packs for more casual hiking/backpacking.
Pros: Durable construction. Easy to access. Easy to adjust. Contains a pack cover.
Cons: The weight, but again you're getting a lot of durability. Would like to see more color options and perhaps some more options for lashing gear.
Would buy his pack again without blinking.
