Whether you’re on a thru-hike, traveling abroad, or trying to get away for the weekend, the Gregory men’s Optic and women’s Octal are ready to help you balance your load while cutting your overall weight. Built around a lightweight aluminum frame, each pack uses the company’s AeroSpan suspension system to provide load-stabilizing support and fluid-like efficiency. The EVAP moisture-wicking ventilated back panel and mesh shoulder straps keep you cool when things start to warm up. Dual-density FocusForm shoulder straps and hip belts give extra support in targeted areas. In addition to sizable main compartments, the packs have large stretch pockets on the side that can fit bottles of any size, two easy-access hip-belt pockets, and loops to attach trekking poles or ice axes. Finally, the V-shaped compression system helps to reduce pack volume, keeps your items from shifting inside, and balances the weight more effectively.
Note: This drop’s base price is for the men’s Optic 48 or the women’s Octal 45. At checkout, you can opt for the men’s Optic 58 or the women’s Octal 55 (each + $15). The Optic is available in Beacon Blue and Lava Gray. The Octal is available in Frost Gray and Monarch Blue. Availability will vary depending on the style and color chosen.
