The Zulu 55 is listed at 3 lbs which seemed light because I have looked at this pack on the Backcountry site. They have it at 3 lb 11 oz, the Gregory official site says 3 lbs. I emailed my contact at Backcountry, who spoke to Gregory. The Zulu 55 is 3 lb 11 oz (size L which I was interested in is 3 lb 14 oz) and that does not count the included raincover which is 4.5 oz more (I assume it's detachable and that's why they don't count it in the weight). So the actual weight is 3 lb 15.5 oz for M, 4 lb 2.5 oz for large.
