I bought a plain stainless steel model direct from Griffin/Coyote Mountain Outdoors. Disappointed with the fit and finish on my model. The scoring tip isn't particularly sharp, the edges on the pry tool are VERY smoothed over and blunt. Less sharp than the teeth on a key. The jimping on the edges is unevenly in spacing and depth. The finish on the inside or the box wrench/pocket hook part is very rough. Almost as if no effort was put into finishing these after they were cut.
Extremely disappointed but I would be pissed off if I paid extra for an anodized, brass, titanium or carbon fiber version. I'm better off buying literally anything else. For $20 its a lesson in "don't buy cheap shit."
defg@defg We would be more than happy to send you a replacement unit. It sounds like you may have received one of the early versions before we started to CNC all portions of the tool. Feel free to send me an email casey@coyotemtnoutdoors.com with your information and we can go from there.
