A better idea for this product would be to combine the two. Most people use their sleeve as the "deck" which usually just kills airflow as the weight of the laptop makes it sink into the soft fabric blocking air intakes. If the sleeve had a "hard" and solid bottom, but was sleeve-like elsewhere, it would be the perfect solution. Basically a solid deck that doesn't kill airflow, but that works as a laptop sleeve at the same time. One could even argue that the sleeve is safer than regular all-soft sleeves, as it has a hard side protecting the laptop from bumps. Make this a reality and you have a buyer. Now it just doesn't work, as the deck can't even fit in the sleeve.
