I purchased a wood-bodied pen on MD years ago and it was very poor quality. I've been wary of wood ever since, however this is just nice enough to allay my fears. I'm in for one!

TomaCzarHello from Italy, my name is Maurizio and me and my family own Grifos pen company which have produced the fossile wood pens of this drop. Sorry if my English is rough but I spend more time doing pens then writing English and I know it will look rough and with funny Italian sound. I apologize for this. I'm sorry to see your troubles and I more sorry again to have not know them. Could you please let me know if you have contact Massdrop CS ? Seem that nobody of them was knowing your troubles, Massdrop staff was not aware and they underline that they are at disposal of customers for any issue of this kind and I would add I'm too at disposal from now. I mean made handmade pens made in natural material could have some percentage of risk but all them are easy to be fixed if only there is a fair comunication between who made the pens and customers. More again all our pens have warranty period. Why you haven't ask for this your right? I'm always ready to help but I must be contacted... How I can know otherwise? Isn't usefull have no news and then read after months that a customer have something to fix. We have sold here on Massdrom some hundreds pieces and if there is something to fix is natural and statistic but we have to know at least! Other strange things is that you write that you purchase a pen of our "YEARS AGO" but we have started to sell on MD only on last November. Is possible you have confused us with some other?? To conclude if the pen to be fixed is indeed our I'm ready and glad to help you. Just let me know and thank you to have commit one of this! I will answer to other messages too during this drom time frame and I remain at disposal of all pen lovers here. Regards from Aosta Valley of Italy Maurizio

StubnibMaurizio,
Not a pen of yours, just a pen with a wood body. I'm sure, just by looking at the pictures, that your craftsmanship is of a higher quality than that of the other pen's manufacturer, which is why I have joined the drop. That being said, thank you for responding and providing a glimpse into the pride and care you put into not only your product, but also into your relationship with your customer.

TomaCzarHello, thank you for your reply! Now I understand. I hope to deserve your nice words, but yes I like let know that behind these pens there are men and women who work doing writing instruments for other men and women our customers and among people why not put a sane and fair communications? MD give me this opportunity and I like to catch it. Best regards from Alps mountain of Italy Maurizio

StubnibAh yes, I guess I'd reply from here instead. I know this drop is hosted by MassDrop, but is it possible to ship faster? MassDrop stated that it'd be shipped at the end of March. While I need this pen to be shipped before March. My sister is studying in Germany and she'd be back to Indonesia on 3rd March, so I'm thinking about sending the pen to Germany instead of Indonesia to save the shipping cost . Probably you could help me by shipping this pen individually? If there is any extra cost I'll cover it. Thank you!

StubnibOh and I see there is an option to upgrade to gold nib right? In the MassDrop description it says that the gold nib material will be white gold, but the picture in the ordering option shows me that the nib is yellow gold. I don't think that yellow gold fit the pen color pallet. But if it is white gold I'm sure it will fit really well!

netorare-chanHello, I understand. See we make these sellings here on Massdrop with a particular agreement about price, purchased quantity and deliver time. I mean that here on Massdrop you are able to purchase through their "Mass" order (wholesale) the pen at a very low price we deal with them. For this reason you have to purchase it through this site and wait for the delivery standard time. Sure we could sell it also on our web site in straight way but it will cost you for more (240 Euro that mean roughtly 273$). Sure you can understand this simple wholesale mechanism. Best from Italy. Maurizio
