I suspect that, like many others in MD, I kept telling myself that I have already bought too many pens this year and I am going to wait till 2017. So, when I saw the drop I thought it was interesting but was on the far side of the fence. Then I read messages from Maurizio, and that brought me close, and finally pushed me over the fence to happily join the drop. Seldom, if ever, do I get to communicate with the real maker of my hobby instrument, and Maurizio's involvement is, to me at least, better than guarantee on a piece of paper that I normally received. Maurizio, please earn our trust, take care of our pens, and make sure that we will not regret this decision.

Kuantsai.LeeThank you! Await till 2017 have a risk but also a positive side. The risk is that this fossile wood came from Ukraina not far from the places of the recent war. Sometime is hard to deal with this supplier since ins't easy for him respond me, then you must be enought lucky to find a right piece to be worked on lathe machine. Not al Bog Oak piece could be nicely worked. We have staredt to produce this pen a couple of years ago and sometime I have to stop to await a new supply that could arrive with delay. May be things will improve if the war will not start again. Actually I have some dozens only pieces. The good news is that await till 2017 to have you one you will gain a year again i datation so your one will be old 5460 + 1 year... :-)) Maurizio
