RGLMI'm confused. If it's more expensive on Amazon, why shouldn't we buy it here?

NicowhatBecause massdrop shipping can take literally months. On the good end you're looking at around two months, at the bad end, seven plus. With amazon, if you have prime, it's two days. Without, it's still 7.

NicowhatI waited something like eight months for my Darkvoice 336 to arrive, and probably about five for my 6XX's You should only buy from MD if it's an exclusive you want, or a REALLY good deal.

NicowhatThen that may just be an issue for other categories, and honestly thats good to know that I can order mtg stuff from here without that huge trade off. I've only ever ordered and known people who have ordered stuff from the audiophile and mechanical keyboards section.

wetmuddragonNo, It's because the exploit their workers, paying them the absolute minimum possible, and working them unbelievable hours, and with the state of the job market, people are just about willing to take whatever they can get

MasterloardThey aren’t being forced to work there. Walmart pays more than minimum wage. Most Walmart workers don’t work long hours. I hated working at Walmart and the free market made it possible to quit and get a better job.

MasterloardYes a hellscape where our poor are fat and walk around with computers in their pockets. Capitalism takes greed and turns it into something virtuous. From medicine to quality of life, our lives are made easier because of capitalism.

wetmuddragonSure, if that's what you think we can go with that one, in a society where a single mom has to spend just about every waking hour of every day as a glorified indentured servant so that she can keep her kid fed and clothed as well as a place to sleep. That sounds like a worker's Paradise to me

Masterloardwe have welfare programs to keep the poor with food and housing. You are posting baseless nonsense. Clothes and food are also cheaper because of capitalism. If people would stop having babies before marriage then we wouldn’t have so many single mothers. People like you want the freedom to do whatever you want but don’t want any of the consequences of making poor decisions. Freedom doesn’t mean free stuff. Freedom means i can’t block you from doings things unless they directly impede me. What system has been more successful than capitalism?

wetmuddragonWe shouldn't NEED welfare programs. Welfare programs are meant to be a safety net for when you lose a job, or for when you become crippled, or for those who literally can't work. As it is though, it's being used to supplement the fact that employers aren't willing to pay employees a livable wage. You know the system is fucked up when people who are considered middle class need to he on welfare themself (don't have the like to the article handy).

MasterloardThey don’t need welfare. People just need to live within their means.
