Woohoo, it's up! I was the builder for this Gundam and it was my first Gunpla build ever. I see that there is some shade being thrown in for this model, but as a newcomer to the hobby, I really appreciated starting with something a little less complex and intimidating. I used to build models when I was a kid (planes, tanks, spacecraft, etc) so I was really excited to get the chance to do one of these.
The build took me somewhere between 9-10 hours start to finish over a few days. I'm sure I could have done it much faster if it wasn't my first build. Before I get called out, I did not sand the nubs and will be panel lining with a pen, sorry @Darkshade. I knew that I would probably make some mistakes on this build since it was my first time model building in so long, so I didn't want to spend the extra time on nub removal. Having been through the process I would definitely do it next time and be a little more careful with my snips.
Here are some photos from the process.

erikbroThat is still a good job on the nub marks, i couldn't see any obvious ones in the pictures at least! I might recommend that you panel line with a dark red rather than a black but its up to you on just how "anime" you want your gundam to look :P The only other thing is that i noticed there was some distortions in the plastic (like around the left foot for example) I find that if they are not too bad they can be removed with a FINE sanding stick and then buffed back into a shine! Hope you enjoyed building the weapons on this guy! He comes fully loaded!

DarkshadeThanks for the tip! I'll look into the distortion. I don't have a dark red for panel lining, but I might try brown over the grey that i have and see what happens.
The weapons were definitely cool to build. The swing arm cannon is a lot more maneuverable than I would have thought.
The only part I didn't like about the build was applying the decals. I was only using 1 set of tweezers and I think it would have been easier and a lot more accurate to use two or some other method. I ended up with a few of them that were just slightly off from where I meant them to be and they really bug me! I wish the kit came with an extra set of decals for mistakes.
