Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

The Wolfson chip in the X9, however, CAN natively decode DSD -- if Gustard has chosen to enable Direct DSD processing in thier implementation; can anyone confirm this?
GUTB, you sure about that?

One DAC chip may perform better than another whether inferior or not in whatever capacity it might be, it all depends on how the engineers designed and programmed its implementation. There appears to be consensus (if one cares to keep a tab for it) that ES9018 is the best chip out there, with that said and if implemented without taking advantage of its abilities, it will lag behind many other chips Wolfson included.
