I've been looking at the watch for quite some time. Can Massdrop confirm if the watch comes with the Nato strap, strap changing tool and large box that is the standard retail packaging? That's important to the purchase decision. As the watch has no warranty listed, I presume its a grey market acquisition. If the packaging isn't there, then I have questions about the origins of the watch.
Also, is there any warranty for the watch from Hamilton or from Massdrop?
Thanks.

kpcorbinI was looking at this watch last week and could have swore several places sell it for $599.

SynnysterI'm not seeing it at that price. Over $700 at most places. It may drop to below the Massdrop price from time to time I'm sure.

kpcorbinHow do you know there is no warranty? I did not find any mention of that?

BobrazThat's precisely how you know there is no manufacturer warranty included, because there's no mention of one included in the technicmal specifications.

BobrazTypically if there is a warranty Massdrop states at the end of the description the length of the warranty and who is providing it (manufacturer or Massdrop). Until I see some language about a warranty, I have to assume it doesn't come with one. If the watch shows up with no Hamilton warranty card, then I can't send it to them. I don't know if Massdrop is providing a one year warranty or simply a 30 day return policy. Some clarity would be helpful.

kpcorbinJust like you wrote, if it's not mentioned in the technical description, then only the 30-day MassDrop warranty applies. There have been several Hamilton drops and none of them have included a stamped warranty card, so there's no manufacturer warranty. The only watches I've seen that include stamped cards are Glycines (MD gets their watches directly from them, as I understand it), Spinnaker/AVI-8, some Breitlings, Orient (if they come from Orient USA), and most of the microbrands that are offered.

kpcorbinI really don't know why warranty questions arise every watch drop, why doesn't massdrop just include a warranty section in the description every time no matter what the situation is so that the customers know what they are getting.

FiercekryptonAll anyone has to do is search "Massdrop warranty" and the link I provided above comes up. But people are too lazy, just like how many people are too lazy to even read product descriptions...

browncoreNo, not lazy. The MD warranty changed in January , '17. No reference to manufacturer warranty could be an oversight...it has happened before and I've seen corrections made in descriptions. And considering the standard packaging includes more than just the watch and there's no mention of it in the description, it makes sense to ask. I want to know what I'm buying before handing over $690.
