Here's my 2 cents - while the fact that this particular keycap happens to be a fidget spinner is truly lulz worthy, I really like this keycaps for 2 reasons:
1.) It does something. How many keycaps can you actually interact with that don't impact use of the rest of your keys/board, or at all for that matter? (I'm personally not aware of any, but I could very easily be mistaken.)
2.) It's construction not only looks high-quality, but also makes it modular. It's literally just screwed into the keycap. It even looks like there's a nice metal fitting inside for the screw to grab into. If I get bored with the spinner, I am certain I can find something else that I can fit onto this keycap, or even perhaps just a different spinner (would likely need to 3d print one)?
Not to mention, for an artisan keycap, especially of this complexity, $20 (while probably ludicrous for anyone outside of the MechKeebs niche, I am sure) is really pretty damn cheap imo.
Kudos to Hammer for this interesting keycap.
My only problem now, is figuring out what color... x.x Debating on the bubble gum to go with Laser... or perhaps the lemon drop for something less...pink...
