The Hanwag Lhasa is your go-anywhere, do-anything boot, designed to look sharp in the city and transition easily to the trails. Each pair is made from thick, hydrophobic yak leather sourced exclusively from the Lhasa Leather Factory in Tibet, with a soft cuff and a chrome-free leather lining. Solidly built for all-day wear yet lightweight and supple enough to keep your feet comfortable, they’re well suited for longer trekking trips and built to take a beating in the rain. The Vibram AW Integral sole provides support, the ball bearing lacing system makes quick work of laceups, and the boots’ cemented construction allows them to be resoled time and again. This updated version even has a tongue lace hook to keep the tongue from slipping.

Named for its founder, Hans Wagner, Hanwag brings traditional craftsmanship and sophisticated technical expertise to every pair of boots in its product line. Made with materials sourced exclusively from European suppliers, the uppers, lining, and reinforcements are prepared using simple, hand-operated machinery before they are double-stitched. The craftsmen then use special techniques to reduce the number of seams, which minimizes rubbing and pressure points, and enhance air circulation for greater walking comfort.
