Definitely in for one. I own Hanwag Alaska GTX and these are by far the best and most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Build like a tank. They did take some time to break in though. The Alaska is heavy duty hiking boot and look quite out of place with normal trendy clothes. But these would be perfect to wear casually with jeans and everyday fashion. I was deciding between this and the Gruten. The only difference is the Gruten has leather at the ankles also. But since this is on sale. Might as well :)

gkstatesHappy to hear you like these, @gkstates Hanwag makes some of the best boots out there and we're really lucky to be working with them. The Tashi actually will have a lot easier and faster break-in period than your Alaskas, as they're meant more as a hybrid between hiking boots and a city-appropriate style.
