Just a heads up - hours after me displaying a $39 discrepancy between Gritomatics and another websites pricing on Massdrop (see below), the other websites pricing has been increased/manipulated to reflect Gritomatics, this was done to give the false perception of savings on Massdrop. Does anyone want to associate with this kind of business practice?
Come on Massdrop! where are you? show us your ethics, step up and insist on dealing with ethical and upfront businesses that don't attempt to manufacture pricing right here on your website, this just looks disgraceful!

JimmyPSorry, I don't know why manufacturer specified this price, it looks the pure mistake to me. V6 Revision 3 was mininum price $239 among all dealers. The minimum price that existed before the drop is $219 for V6 Rev1. If you fact-check historic pricing beyond this mistake on website, you will see that this drop is real deal.

JimmyPI understand how it might appear that way, but you've mischaracterized an honest error on someone else's part as an intentional deception on Massdrop's part, which it was not. We're in touch with the vendor @Gritomatic to figure out why the other site's pricing was incorrectly low, but there's nothing nefarious afoot here. Thanks for calling out the error, regardless.

GritomaticRegarding fact checking and price history, I checked my email and on 9th Feb 17 I received notification from Hapstone that V6 was in stock and ready for sale, it was $199 on that day and remained that price untill hours after I mentioned the price here....all I know is the pricing your suggesting never existed at Hapstone.pro, at your store maybe....?

JonasHeinemanI agree that the mishap (if we can call it this way) is not on Massdrop side, however this is an instance of a "trust" or somewhat along the lines of "I saw the price of item X on your website for less than what I sell it, can you please raise it to the same price I sell it for so I don't loose my face?". So to summarise, Massdrop is not involved here but @Gritomatic is. The funny thing is that they (hapstone.pro) updated the price on their direct sales website in USD but if you switch to RUB you can clearly see that the price is still <10000 which is the pre-increase price.

Attaching a screenshot so it's more clear and we can't change history again. So I join @JimmyP in lifting up the carpet so we can see the dust underneath. I sincerely hope that this was a real mishap but I don't really like coincidences so from my perspective I lose quite a lot of faith in @Gritomatic and their business practices. Still this is a good price, so I don't deny that NOW this is probably the best place to buy and I might join the drop nevertheless.

JonasHeinemanI don't believe I ever said that Massdrop intentionally deceived and as you can see from my above post, the $199 pricing has been in place since the 9th Feb this year so it definitely triggered my BS radar seeing the convenient price change happen meer hours after I mention it here.

wathrogOk just to add to the insult they now removed the currency selector in their website and the price in RUB is gone. This confirms indubitably that there is a connection between what is posted here, @Gritomatic and Hapstone. Despicable on your side to leverage the trust of the users of Massdrop to sell goods at the price they are always sold but making it look like a bargain.
What a shame.... I really hope this is the last time Massdrop will do business with you.
PS: the Ukrainian currency is still there if you access the website (hapstone.pro) clearing out the cookies, also shows an even lower pre-raise price. If you want to cleanup, please do it properly. Screenshot attached.

wathrogIt's not clean up. Hapstone is completely eliminating online selling today as result of this battle here. After it's finished they will post here.

JimmyPThanks for the reply, I think the post that Anton made is really the most complete response and I hope that explains why the changes were made. Balancing international relations between manufacturer, distributor, retailer, and customer can be hard, especially for specialty products, but it seems like they were making honest efforts to take care of everyone. Hope you agree, thanks for engaging here with the community's best interests in mind as you clearly have been. Much appreciated.
