A communication hiccup occurred between our vendor and the manufacturer during the early stages of production as a result of a new computer system that incorrectly indicated progress that hadn't yet happened. However, since then, the glitch has been remedied and we've confirmed that the antiquing process for these lighters is indeed under way.
The unfortunate news is that this issue, combined with the previous brass stock delay, has pushed back the anticipated ship date to our warehouse till the end of May. While we are working with them to have this new deadline moved up, it appears individual orders will still be shipped much later than originally expected.
With that, we will certainly still be allowing cancellations by reaching out to our Community Support team in your transactions page (https://massdrop.com/transactions). We'd also like to note that cancelling will not impact the amount of units we committed to purchasing through our partnership with The HATE Project, nor the amount of proceeds we send to The Make A Wish Foundation of Central California.
Those who wish to remain in the drop and wait for these lighters to finish manufacturing may still do so and we will do our best to provide timely updates as we receive them. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 4/27.
