Bought the biggest one.
Gotta say, so far it feels like a great investment.
Doesn't show up any marks from knives, and it's so fun to work with I feel joy when I need to cut something on that board. :)
So I got this delivered 2 days ago.
And holy hot damn is it just sexy!
I don't even want to use it.
I bought the biggest size on MassDrop.
I've got it just sitting on my kitchen island because I don't want to cut anything on it.
I'm actually tempted to just lay my slowly growing collection of knives on it as a display.
Seriously. It's beautiful and feels so good when I run my hand across the top.
I'm just, yeah, loss for words.
My first real cutting board is a keeper.
Thank you so much Hauform and MassDrop for this new rabbit hole. :D
BrainFlushThank you for the kind words. Don't worry about ruining the cutting board. End grain cutting boards are very strong and a knife will not ruin them. Just be sure to oil it once it starts to dry out, couple months depending on how much it is used, and it will look good as new.
HauformI appreciate the tip and response.
I believe you that a knife won't ruin it.
I'm just happy using it like it is and I decided to just keep using the cheap plastic boards for the restaurant. :D
Are the thickness measurements correct? The boards get thinner as they get bigger?
Is there a reason for that?
I'm close to buying but I'm used to seeing them substantially thicker than half an inch and so I'm hesitant.
