So how does this compare to your "typical" smart watches / activity trackers in the market? I'm looking at Samsung Gear Fit or Garmin

TheYoungMunkThis is kind of a dumb smart watch in that basically it's a conventional watch with a fixed face that connects to your phone to perform the smarts. The only thing the watch does is vibrate and some of the hour markers glow to indicate things. For anything more complex than that you have to refer to the phone. So why bother? If you are going to get a smart watch wouldn't you want one that shows you things on the face? Or that you can choose the face you want?
