I am deciding between the pico power and the pico amp/dac. I currently have an xduoo x10 and samsung galaxy s7 exynos as a source. I was worried that the pico power would end up getting more total distortion due to it passing by either of the amp in my source. So which would have better quality to power sennheiser hd6xx?

supasbYour xduoo x10 has a fixed line output from it's DAC section than I imagine you'll quite like the improvement you'll get from the Pico Power. I've fed the Shanling M2s [which also features a single AK 4490 dac-chip set implementation] into my own Pico Power and noticed a pretty immediate improvement. Especially with more demanding headphones like my own HE 4XX and your HD 6XX
The Amp/Dac model though will likely pair to your phone directly, if you go that route your able to use a variety of different Audio Playback suites on your android phone, like Neutron. Neutron Audio has a very nice parametric EQ and a suite of other DSP features. If your willing to take the time to fine tune the sound with the DSP options in such players than you'll likely find it just as enjoyable as what the X10 an Pico Power output.
I guess ultimately it boils down to which device you find more enjoyable to operate for listening to music? If you like your X10 more than get the Pico Power, if you enjoy using your S7 more than get the Dac/Amp Pico

MshenayThanks alot for the reply. I really love the xduoo x10, got it on alliexpress after it got lost during shipment when ordering from here, unfortunately xduoo's customer service is non existent and I got stuck pixel lines all over my screen but it still works. Ended up buying the pico power.
