Great price for the watch....Mecha Quartz is a great hybrid option & as a collector with a lot of mechanicals I can tell you that a quartz will be welcomed with open arms....I have a mechanical chrono at the moment that needs the seconds hand reset & to just do that will cost me three times the cost of this watch....go figure!!
Quartz shouldn't be viewed as a "cheap" option...it's just using todays technology to deliver an accurate timepiece....if Breguet had the technology to hand at the time do you think he would have used it??..Absolutely...unparalleled accuracy, Years of wind free running .....remember the purpose of a watch is to tell time accurately..this watch does that & also satisfies the aesthetic needs of watch junkies such as myself!
Note, the watch also has C3 super luminova applied & the steel bracelet has solid end links as opposed to foldover links that are found on "cheap" watches. ...even those within Seiko's range of SSB watches that use the same movement as this watch.
