Holy hell these are well made. Will definitely be buying more products from HELM even if it's at full price.

Got the boots yesterday. These boots are so nice and they quality is right on. Right out of the box there were no visible damage or defects. They are on the heavy side but they are gorgeous. For the $150 this drop was it was a steal. Can't wait for more products from this brand.

Wow! My Chukka's arrived today and I am stunned at the quality, particularly given the price that we paid. Nicely done Massdrop!

Is there any recommender care for these? I'm looking up caring for leather boots but most seem to be a conditioner that will darken and help protect from elements. I have found a product someone recommended for dress boots called saphire renovateur. I guess it's not oil based so it won't westherize at all but it won't discolor and it made to provide nutrients for similar style dressy leather items.

There really weren't many of each of the sizes. Under 50 sold and half the size options are sold out? What's up with that?

I see that all sales are final. Does that preclude exchanges for size?
These look great!

I live in Austin, have visited the HELM store and folks a few times and have two pairs of their boots. They're a small, low volume designer. Yes, they're expensive, but they're the real "hand crafted" deal, not like the bigger name brands that sell for a premium by way of a marketing "story". The boots feel like they were custom made for me and are special articles of clothing in my closet. When I put them on, it's a deliberate decision.
I'm shocked to see these on massdrop. This drop is the biggest discount I've ever seen on HELM boots. They normally do small discount sales during big holidays and very occasionally run 25-50% clearances on remaining stock of models they discontinue, but nothing like this. I didn't imagine I'd be getting another pair, but this is absurd to pass up.
FYI, I generally wear a US size 11, slightly narrow. Occasionally I have to drop to a 10 1/2. The first pair of helms I got was a rounded toe work boot in 10 1/2D size. My larger foot was a bit cramped in the toes and so I had to get one boot stretched. The second pair has a plain toe, size 10 1/2D and fits like a glove on both feet. Hope that helps.

JRiddleThank you for the input. I did some digging around to see if they are cheaper outside of Massdrop and i couldn't find anything close to this discount. I jumped on it. I like trying out new brands but some consumers are more brand driven and tend to discard micro brands, nothing wrong with that but that is prob. why it hasn't sold out yet.
