hyperlemonNo not junk, just cheap. At $100 the choice of automatic is either an base range anemic Japanese watch from Seiko or Citizen etc. or something like this from China. Politics aside ( I am actively trying to avoid Chinese products; but sometimes a deal like this comes along and is just too good!!) at this price you are getting something with a little style; and some Heritor watches are reasonably made: at time of writing this there are 58 sold!! good figures for the first day on offer. I ordered one for the fun of it, knowing that if I don't like it I can sell it on without losing much if any money!! If you like it, as a wise cranky old man said to me ; just order it. At $99 it's not much of a risk. Good luck.
A cheap Tissot with ETA movement will only retain any value if you spend many times the buying price getting it serviced. In reality all watches made today are disposable unless you just change out the movement instead of servicing.
JAoneYes , they make some very high end watch movements of very good quality ,, just google ' Seagull Hand winding movements ' , some of these are easily as well made as the Paneri hand winders .
