This is deceiving. The video shows the Lynxmotion Phoenix (which is $1000 by the way - http://www.robotshop.com/ca/en/lynxmotion-phoenix-3dof-hexapod-robot-kit-no-electronics.html) whereas this is a cheap knockoff. I've bought 'cheap' servos before and they do not last.

I would be interested, but the description leaves some to be desired. What components are needed to make this operational? Do I just need the Arduino and batteries? "The kit comes with everything you need to build the robot excluding batteries and electronics" that basically covers everything but the chassis.
I also agree that video is not terribly great as marketing either, as they are obviously supporting it with string..

LoreRavendarkAs I understand it, it comes with the motor driver board into which you either have to plug your computer or something like an arduino to actually control it. It fits my use case in that manner but it would be nice if we knew if it comes with software to run it for those who might not be interesting in coding their own controller.

It would be nice to have a video of the actual product. Because the thing in the video is clearly different and can't even support its own weight.

UbaldWe have added a different video that represents the product in use and without any wires attached.
The first video was the product in design phase.
Cheers!

JaysunYou really ought to disclose (on the product page) that the video is not for the same product, or at least link to the product advertised (here, I'm doing the work for you http://www.lynxmotion.com/c-117-phoenix.aspx). Lynxmotion is a high quality and highly supported product that costs 4x as much. This is a knockoff. Don't deceive customers!

Who calls a Hexapod a Spider? That has to be one of the weirdest naming decisions ever
