The hot bed looks to be tilted to the right compared to the base or the printer head arm. Optical illusion or pour setup ?

Seems to be cheaper than ones I build my self, if this prints well, it's a steal.

It's like the wild west out there with all these 3D printers. The price and build size are attractive, but it would be nice to have to some information from current users. How hard is it to calibrate the Han-Bot? I assume it'll print both PLA and ABS--no?

Yeah, I can't find very much information about this printer. I am excited about this one and also the filament from Hanbot. Can we get some more information about the printer?
What electronics/firmware does it use?
Build volume (as mentioned by others, it seems to be 200mm^3, but also mentions that it is expandable)?
What Hotend is used (I imagine it's a custom one).
Their site has some of this information (I think) But, it's not in english

I tried to download the manual, firmware, and software from their site, which I think would answer a lot of questions, but nothing seems to be available.
I am a little concerned about the "new host software". Unless they just built a new UI, and it's still compatible with standard reprap software, then that is perfect.
Sorry if this is a lot of questions. I am really interested in this printer as it seems to be a nice quality MendelMax2 variant (if we could verify that as well, that would be great) at a great price. I'm getting ready to join the filament drop right now in anticipation.
HowlerI've got one in the office, and I just took it apart. The Stepper Motor Controller is Han-Bot branded, and requires me to remove the entire side panel to get a clear look at, but the LCD panel is a J204A model, which looks to be pretty standard. The Hotend looks like it's their own model, but I do know that they manufacture a decent J-Head MK IV.
Later today I'll plug it in and post some screenshots of the software for you.

AndrewLekashmanThat would be fantastic! Glad to hear someone has one.
How do you like it? Does it make good prints? You said the controller is their own version. Do you know if it follows the reprap standard? (IE, did they build their own board, but use a standard firmware?) So that you can use like Pronterface to control the printer without having to use their (non-open source) software?

Please confirm the build envelope for this printer. It looks to be 200mm^3 from the various websites I've looked through. Having a build envelope be adjustable from 100mm to 500mm doesn't sound quite right given how much bigger the frame would need to be.

Do NOT buy this. Direct clone of MakerToolWorks' FuseMatic printer. Pathetic that the gov't would support the cloning of an american machine.

n9hnyDo you have a source other than a picture? I have read that it's a clone from open source stuff based on the MendelMax 2. If it's open source, good quality and a third the price... where's the problem?
However, I did come across this which seems fitting for the situation.

Everything online I can find suggests 200mm x 200mm x 200mm, what is with the other 2 sizes, what size is this one?
han-bot.com says... 200mm on their main info page but under parameters it says... Build Volume MIN. 100*100*100MM, MAX 500*500*500MM
I've heard Hanbot makes nice stuff and 200mm is plenty of space if that's all this is.
