Joined the group buy since from my research the BA100 seems to be a good choice in terms of value, comfort and build quality.
The lack of volume buttons is disappointing, Apple iDevices controls already work with Android as far as microphone and play/pause/call button is concerned, it's only the volume buttons that don't work.
They could easily have included these buttons for iDevice (or Android) and just leave them non-functional for the other device, I guess it's better to say on the box that they support both devices than saying some functions don't work in the other. It might also save them money but if you're already including the microphone and the play/pause/call button, the extra 2 button is going to cost like 25 cents.
The BA100 really sits at a nice price point since I don't really want to subject $100+ fragile electronics to sweat, scrapes and drops (accidents WILL occur no matter how much I baby them).
Hopefully it'll be able to take my abuse.
For people who missed this massdrop, you can get 50% off directly from the manufacturer until the end of October if you promises to write a review comparing it to your current headphones (I assume IEMs), details here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/684748/hisoundaudio-s-ba-100-challenge-the-multi-drivers-earpphones
