This revised desktop surround-sound speaker system from HiVi provides powerful and detailed multi-channel sound. It can reproduce theater-quality sound for desktop or mini home theaters and offers the latest in near-field acoustic technology. The cabinets, finished in walnut with black lacquer, are fitted with speaker drivers found in high-end audio systems, including 3-inch magnesium/aluminum alloy cone full-range drivers, a treated fabric dome tweeter, and an 8-inch PMK cone long-throw woofer. For the MKII, engineers designed a new power amplifier circuit, resulting in a system with nearly twice as much power as the previous revision, plus improved sound and deeper bass.
