I wanted to clear up the confusion on this. HiVi is actually the OEM for this Senal product.
I can't speak to whether or not they share the same internals, as I haven't opened them both and compared, but obviously the cabinets do look the same because they come out of the same factory.
We strive to be as transparent as possible at Massdrop, so to be clear, our vendor for this drop is Chane Music and Cinema who has been importing HiVi products to the US for over 10 years. HiVi is one of the largest manufacturers of audio electronics in China and OEM's for tons of companies as well as having their own brand.

Funny how much they have ripped of the Genelec look, and yet totally fucked it up, they look horrible.
I have 8020s and 8030s, they are worth the cash. They're like buying a Leica, you get a premium product that keeps its value and last for a lifetime.
