Just about there! We've been in touch with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and package the group's order for individual shipment to each of you. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is sent out!
Expect another update from us on 7/26 or sooner if something comes up.

TylerBenchmade (Manufacturer) is not familiar with you guys so I have no idea who you're vendors are... but it shouldn't take weeks just to ship less than 40 knives out... I don't like you you guys refuse to mention who the vendors are and what they do.

HowAmI@HowAmI Just wanted to let you know that expected ship dates are always listed at the bottom of the drop description page. In this case, we have the expected ship date set for July, 27th and we still anticipate being able to hit that.

TylerI know that. What I mean was from the date you told them to the date of shipping.

HowAmIThere is a slight difference between the terminology "Vendor" and "Manufacturer" However as far as I know the AXIS lock is still patented by Benchmade, and Massdrop could face severe legal repercussions for selling counterfeit goods. As far as I know the order of things like this goes Manufacturer sends to vendor with an MSRP, Massdrop goes to vendor and offers to buy a bunch at a lower price, reducing profit per piece, but selling more units. Vendor then either ships to them, or I guess as it goes this time to us. Would still be good to know who the vendor is/where they're located at incase they need to be contacted for any problems, as customer service through middlemen is a pain

J3kyllThanks for the answers and I understand that selling counterfeits could cause legal trouble. As for the Manufacturer and Vendor I was just saying Benchmade already the person I talked to is unfamiliar with Massdrop

HowAmII don't think they're counterfeits. We'll know when we get them, but from my research of where the knives were shipped from, Benchmade has two authorized dealers within a 5 mile radius, one of which - from browsing their website - seems to have stopped selling benchmade products. Most likely they're the vendor selling off their inventory. *But alas, this is speculation

HowAmIWhere is the idea coming from that these knives are counterfeit? That is just pure paranoid speculation. Folks get into trouble for buying from private re-sellers off Ebay or unknown website, usually in Asia or Eastern European countries. Moreover, counterfeit knifes are usually well below MSRP and these BM knifes (and I bought 3 on 3 different drops) are none of that. Although the current price is a as low as you can get anywhere for a new BM knife, they are not as outrageously low as the counterfeits are. The Cuttleryshoppe has this knife for about $10 more, which is still cheap but still well within acceptable margins for a legit price offer; not like the $30 or $40 the counterfeits are going for. And, the counterfeits look different if you look at the pictures closely.
